Actual 9.5mm film frames, showing the variable
density optical soundtrack (lhs) and sprocket holes.

Pathéscope used the actual cinema release main
titles, but put a "Pathéscope Prssents" in place
of the original
Twentieth Century Fox intro.

(We can even see the crude splice - probably
done by Pathéscope's Sales Manager -
I think Bernard Joslin - is there a fingerprint? )

Drama - Nick Sanders is honorably discharged from the army, with a full pardon for his pre-war crimes,
and settles into a happy home life with his wife June, their son Jimmy, and the family dog, "Snuffy."
The latter likes to steal and hide things. When Nick brushes off his ex-partner in crime, Sam Lang,
the smooth crook uses "Snuffy" to rob the Higby home of a valuable diamond. The dog bolts with the loot.
The police suspect Nick of the crime. (International Movie Database)
Ex-convict Nick Sanders discounts his prison record by fine service in the Army and returms to
civilian life wih wife June and son Jimmy. Nick gets a good job, but comes under suspicion when
a bracelet is stolen by old accomplice Sam Lang. The family dog Snuffy helps to recover the
jewelry and the crook is arrested. (Maurice Trace "Guide to British 9.5mm sound films")

Notes: 1. Advertised in the previous Pathéscope Gazette magazine for Oct/Nov1956
but with the cast of Tucson! These typos - yes my web-site is probably riddled!

        2. The recent American DVD release is from the shortened (61 min) cinema re-release.
        3. Pathéscope made only twelve prints of this film. The opening 35mm credit:
"Sol M Wurtzel Presents", has been replaced with "Pathescope Presents".
Otherwise the 9.5mm print appears unchanged.

        4. Jean Rogers is probably best remembered for her role as Dale Arden in
the first two Flash Gordon serials.
        5. Reviewed by Maurice Trace in the Group 9.5 magazine number .........
(Extra Info gratefully added from film historian 'extraordinaire' - Maurice Trace)
